best cheap eat, daily menu, fresh & tasty food, had a smoked pork soup - traditional, excellent, then some indian chicken with rice - super nice flavours, will come back edit: they moved to a cosy garden & house, tasty slow cooked beef that you can cut with the fork, good service

The garden is beautiful. The food is really delicious. I recommend booking a table as the place is almost always full. If you love fish, you should try this place. There are plenty of options.

Nice, green garden. Friendly staff. Average prices. Enough large portions and tasty food. The only thing that we didn't enjoy were the hamsii (small fish) - dried, seemed stale . Very good papanasi

“Couleur Locale” in Bucharest. I had a very enjoyable, early dinner on a spring-like October afternoon at Rare Garden. The dishes were prepared with attention to detail and were presented in a style that indicated effort for an upscale overall effect. The ingredients were of very good quality and the herbs and spices were subtle, but distinct. Certain details hold an important place in my evaluation. Such details are, the fresh and tasty bread, and the French fries that were prepared at the restaurant and were very-very tasty (as opposed to pre-fried, frozen). The desert was also made fresh and was served hot. The service was casual, but attentive. Finally, I really enjoyed the fact that I was the only out-of-country person, and, as time passed, more and more locals were coming in for dinner.

Excellent food and service. Nice selection of Romanian wines. Very nice terrace. Reservations recommended.
